Partly because the women are actively discouraged from doing it by
abortion clinic personnel who aren't in a position to make any money
off adoptions. I believe that includes most if not all abortion
clinic personnel. Here is one woman's testimony:

[QUOTE]
My experience with Planned Parenthood left me with a bad taste in my
mouth. Not only did they fail to offer me any real help to prepare for
parenthood -- something you'd assume they would do with a name like
that -- but they also treated me in a way that just screamed "Have an
abortion or get out!"
...
All I got from Planned Parenthood was a $9 pregnancy test and a woman
telling me that I'm growing a leech.
[END QUOTE]

The stats on Planned Parenthood tell a vivid story:
2009: 332,278 abortions; 977 adoption referrals.
2010: 329,445 abortions; 841 adoption referrals

That's not the main reason; the main reason is that abortions and the
loss of stigma of single motherhood have seriously depleted the pool
of babies available for adoption.

By the way, I have read somewhere that half of abortions are due to
contraception failure. Can either of you two women confirm this?

Who is "we", and how do you determine whether a country is
overpopulated? India is becoming more prosperous, not less.

"Can't afford" = "forced to buy used cars all the time"? You liberals
have strange ideas on what is ''poor" and what is "rich"-- I'm having
an extended debate with Silent O on this matter; he called $353,819
per year "practically poverty level".

Of course, the fact that the topic of discussion was the salaries of
Planned Parenthood fat cats may have had something to do with it:

2011 salaries:
President Cecile Richards $353,819
Chief Operating Officer Maryana Iskander $288,886
Chief Financial Officer Maria Acosta $263,443
VP of Medical Affairs Vanessa Cullins $257,115
VP of General Counsel Barbara Otten $251,379
VP of Public Policy Laurie Rubiner $248,438
VP of Operations Karen Ruffatto $247,932
VP of Affiliates Lisa David $245,322
http://www.stopp.org/pdfs/2011_PP_CEO_Report.pdf

Note how we aren't even down to $200,000, which I already classify as
"rich". Even regional CEOs sometimes get that much or more:

Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest
2001 E Madison Seattle, Washington 98122
P: 206-328-7734
F: 206-328-7522
CEO: Chris Charbonneau
Base Compensation: $259,405

With your ideas, the Japanese may go to extinction earlier than the
3011 date given the estimates by a group of population researchers at
Tohoku University. Here is a "doomsday" clock they have provided:

Farming soils are becoming more and more depleted.
The Amazon jungle is thinning at an alarming rate.
Pollution is getting out of control in many countries.
More and more animal species are going extinct.
The list goes on.

PoPo fauxNy, the fact is every species goes extinct. And being
Japanese does not mean you are a separate species. BTW, the fallout
from Fukushima may well make most of Japan uninhabitable sooner than
overpopulation, pollution, and rising sea levels kills off the rest of
Carcinoma Sapiens.

Remember what I wrote about being a disingenuous lying rightard
asshole?

Here's what I really wrote in response you your little lists of the
earnings of PP officials:

"Those are practically poverty wages.

I know this as an absolute fact.

I hear all about it from your fellow rightards on FOX every time any
Democrat proposes raising taxes high wage earners.

"Two-hundred thousand a year???" They exclaim in horrified disbelief.
"You think that is rich???"."

So, rightard...

Are you stupid or a liar?

Because those are the only alternatives when you present what I wrote
as being serious.

Heh heh...

Lying racist rightard socialists...

Batshit crazy and dogshit stupid, every single last one of you.

I don't expect fat, lazy, greedy, stupid, selfish American idiots to

(Denise) The discussion has gotten kind of side-tracked. While I
pointed out that there is a very strong statistical link between
serial murder and adoption as well as between parricide and adoption,
no one has proposed outlawing this practice. It is available and has
always been available.
Thus, there is a puzzle to "problem pregnancies." Should a girl or
woman realize after giving birth that she does not wish to raise the
baby -- or is unable to raise the baby -- she can place it for
adoption.
Yet there is still panic at unplanned pregnancies.
There is abortion.
As I wrote, girls and women could think, "If I don't want the baby,
I'll place it for adoption."
Yet they abort.
Why is having babies and placing for adoption so unpopular? (Yes,
this unpopularity is associated with the relative rarity of certain
types of murder but that's not the point.)
Is it all a matter of advertising?
It seems to me that most people have heard of adoption.

I'm a Jungian (live freud die jung) and I'm into archetypes. It
should be noted that of the goddesses, many of them were in fact child

face it, Hera, as a mother, was abusive . .. she abandoned her son

Uh, because if a woman doesn't want a child, why on earth should she
go through the bother and harm of pregnancy and childbirth WHEN THERE
ARE ALREADY FAR MORE CHILDREN ALIVE THAN THE WORLD CAN
SUPPORT?????????????

The reason that so many adoptees end up badly is because the sort of
girl or woman who births a baby she obviously is unfit to rear tends
to have a lot of problems herself, and we know now that intelligence
and certain personality traits are heritable.

What the fuck is your point, anyway? You point out that adoptees turn
out badly and yet seem to think that it's preferable to abortion.

That makes no sense at all, even for a lackwit like you.

Correct, I said gasoline prices should have been lower when there was
no reason for them hike. The hikes were only because people over

And that causes pain to a lot of people who can't afford it.

That would be a logical impossibility, since a negative cannot be
proven.

The only whining you hear is your own, Heishman

Now, care to define your terms and actually prove any of your
allegations?
And do 'splain how you expect anyone to prove a fallacy, to wit: A
negative can't be proven.

So, take your own medicine, and prove you are not a child raping
cyberstalking puppy torturing prison bitch.

Be specific. Released from what? For what? Care to provide any
proof I was ever released from any facility of any kind, either penal,
or otherwise?

With proof. Heishman, you should have just killed yourself a long
time ago.

You are a mentally unstable person in serious need of help.

Prove it, and then prove you have any basis to make such a statement.
In fact, that is the sort of thing only someone SERIOUSLY unbalanced
would assert.

So, since you can't stop from proving YOU are the one needing help
maybe you might want to consider ceasing to prove you really should
kill yourself, for the good of the nation, society, the species, and
god. And you provided the proof yourself of your own mental state.
If you weren't so daft you would have stopped proving yourself to be
so unstable by posting the same shit over and over again.

And you wonder why no one in the real world takes your complaints
about me and others in the ng seriously? And why you got smacked down
by the DoC?

Ah, so that's the answer when you make a claim and ask someone to
prove the opposite.
Gotcha! Your own words can come back on you.

Prove I was "ordered psychiatric care" and provide sources.
And I've been schooling you about the fallacy of trying to prove a
negative for some time, Heishman.

Just kill yourself, can't you do a single good thing with your

Oh, my, Heishman, you really need to stop posting, you've really outed
yourself with this.

> > Prove I was "ordered psychiatric care",,,

Since you aren't a medical professional, and since you are essentially
"cyberstalking" me, that sort of statement can really prove my points
about you. You do realize that sort of thing can get you labeled as
someone who really has some major issues, at the very least?
Thank you for proving me right about you!

> There..proof. Now, get some before you do some real damage to someone

You had best take your own advice, because it's beyond crazy to
"order" anyone you've never met to get any sort of Tx .. .but it may
indicate you should perhaps honor your original promise to leave the
ng forever.

You've posted some really odd stuff, but this proves a lot of very
unflattering things about YOU, Robert J. Heishman.
