Just a few more observations on the gruesome abortuary industry.

"Abortion is promoted as a decision between a
woman and her doctor. But, the percentage of
abortions performed in clinics where the woman
never sees the doctor until he appears to abort
her baby is over 90 per cent."
--Human Life Alliance Advertising Supplement,
1991<P>
==============================================

Many are aborted at this stage and later!!
By the end of the second month of pregnancy, the fetus
has a vertebral column, a bony jaw, clavicle, and palate,
a cranium, rib cage, femur, tibia, forearms that can
be distinguished from arms, and thighs that can be
distinguished from legs, a developing nervous system,
sympathetic nerves (meaning the fetus can feel pain),
a closed circulatory system and a working heart, eyes,
developing ears and nose, lungs, arms and forearms,
legs and thighs, hands and feet, a pancreas, a bladder,
kidneys, a tongue, a larynx, a thyroid, germs of teeth,
and developing muscles.
--Gray's Anatomy --

How a president of the United States can veto a bill that would have
stopped late term abortions is something we all will have to answer in
our hearts won't we?
Is this the same president who says he cares for women, children and
the elderly? He makes daily speeches about how bad and cruel the
Conservative Republicans are? Is he lying to us?
May God have mercy on his soul.

In response to your lovely (sic) post:

1. The bill that was vetoed would not have proscribed all "late term
abortions" but only those by D+X
2. You totally fail to understand that we're not talking about normal
pregnancies here, but potentially lethal nes, or ones where the fetus is
horribly
abnormal. Are you so insensitive as to force women to bear a pregnancy
that might kill them (stupid question on my part-you're a Republican so by
definition you're insensitive)
3. Yes, many clinics are such that the patient does not meet the
practitioner until just before the procedure. This is because y'all have
made it nearly impossible for abortions to take place in the confines of a
doctor's office, and the economies of scale also favor an outpatient
clinic setting over a hospital. Guess what-pregnant women may not meet the
obstetrician who delivers their baby until just beforehand if their own
doctor isn't on-call. So this is not a srious point imho
4. Do you really believe your equation "arafat=clinton=yeltsin?" I'm
Jewish and I respect Yasir, and yeltsin, apart from being ineffectua, is
no worse than many other russian leaders. And I like Bill!!
5. Finally, please get a reality check-you sound like so many
anti-choicers who have no idea what a woman really goes through with an
unwanted or dangerous pregnancy. In other words, get a life!
thank you and have a great day!!!!!!!!
p.s.: no, Bill C is not lying about how bad the republicans are

Late term abortions are not needed 80% of the time. You are making
murder legal by allowing this.

People like you and yours call babies parasites so how do we know what
you will consider 'normal' eh?
Please don't bring in the word 'sensitive' because people who
murder their babies like you are promoting, have lost all senses of
sensitivity.

Abortion assembly line method is a crazy practice that only people who

are insensitive and uncompassionate know about. These "drive through"
abortion clinics are a shame to our nation. It shows the immorality
gauge is on empty. Where are we headed next folks?

Melanie, jumping into conversations in which you are not involved
with no constructive text makes you look like an ignorant flame-baiter.
Bomas' position was not supported by fact, and he made several fallacious
statements. Thus, he is a liar. That is all that is to be said.

Keep dreaming young man but the USA Today magazine says that most
Americans are of a Conservative nature such as myself. In fact over
70%. Have you ever wondered where that leaves the liberal view? Can
you see what happened in 1994? It will happen even more so now that we
know for sure that Clinton lies all the time and is not to be trusted.

How do you figure it cannot be proven? I suppose a dead embryo or fetus
has NEVER been examined by a Doctor or scientist? *I* even got a good
look at a dead fetus in the 7th grade.. in science class... she was a 12
week old fetus who was miscarried in 1935.. preserved for all those
years... 12 weeks old.. SHE was DEFINATLEY a SHE .. and had all the
physical features of a term newborn.. not only that.... she had all the
internal organs, that worked until she died ... ( of course the nevous
system was not complete.. tho in formation for a good 4 weeks. )
If you stand by your statement of that there is no way to prove these
things.. than there is no proof for ANYTHING.. including exsistance.
There is no proof I ever posted this note.. matter of fact.. there is no
proof it was done with a computer and a modem either...

: Robert, I would consider Gray's Anatomy to be a reputable source of fact.

He is not using Gray's Anatomy to come up with the false term "Partial
Birth Abortion", nor is he using Gray's Anatomy when he lies that brains are
"sucked out" of fully-developed fetuses, nor is he using Gray's Anatomy when
he states that the full-DNA abortion is not used as a lifesaving procedure.

Ah, USA Today -- there was a colored chart with it, so it must
be true. Sir, if 70% of Americans are conservative, why is Clinton so
far ahead in the polls? Why do the vast majority favor the right of
the woman to choose in the matter of abortion? You are blowing hot

Why doesn't Clinton want to face the charges of

women from unwanted sexual advances? If he is,
then why doesn't he answer the charges?
Is he betraying women AGAIN?

I won't get into this, but Jim Bomas and I have discussed it. Jim's quote
is NOT from Gray's Anatomy, but is a prolife-written paraphrase of the
true Gray's text, which follows...

"The distinction of arm and forearm is apparent, as well as interdigital
clefts. The capsule of the lens and pupillary membrane, the
intraventricular and commencement of the interauricular septum, the
salivary glands, the spleen and suprarenal capsule are distinguishable.
The larynx begins to become cartilaginous. All the vertebral bodies are
cartilaginous. The points of ossification for the radius, ulna, fibula and
ilium appear. The two halves of the hard palate unite. The sympathetic
nerves now for the first time begin to be discerned." Gray's..page [148]

If you compare, you will see they are very different. 'Sympathetic nerves
just discernable' does not indicate a fully developed nervous system.
"Point of ossification' does not indicate a complete bone, but rather a
single cell of preosteo material. The cartilaginous growth of the larynx
is a far cry from a developed, working larynx. etc, etc, etc...

I have no interest in getting on anyone's case, but I thought the accurate
text should be in this thread.

Sure it is. Keep thinking that.

Ah, the liberals control the media. You are citing the media
with your "majority of Americans are conservative" crap. So the liberals
are saying the majority of Americans are conservative? What a tangled
web you weave.

Sure they do. How do you think Reagan got two terms?

There's certainly no proof that you were thinking. Your ridiculous
statements aside, Melker is asserting that full-DNA abortions are done for
convenience; that brains are "sucked out", and other nonsense. That is
what I am refuting.

Cheryl Morris responds:

Just a note, you often say "Catholics and many Christians". I hope that what you mean
to say is "Catholics and many other Christians" because by stating as you have you seem
to be implying that Catholics are not Christians. There are three major groups of
Christians in this world: Eastern Orthodox Christians, Roman Catholic Christians, and
Protestant Christians, and under the Protestant Christian heading you can place
Methodists, Episcopalians, Pentacostals, Baptists, Presbyterians, etc. Even the U.S.
government recognized these three basic divisions within Christianity in it chaplain
system for the Armed Forces.

Cheryl, the only reason I stated it that way is because the Catholic
Church has one man, the Pope, whom they listen to for direction.
Protestants do not have that, they have committees and synods. I in no

I have known people that believed that way though. Thy are also the
same type of people that never change with the times.

On this thread, that may be true, but you certainly have a lot
of interest in getting on my case, judging from all the gloating
you did over an agenda-driven newsgroup, "alt.moron.peter-nyikos",
telling people you think they should all crosspost to it.

You must really be desperate over the shellacking I've been
