I cant give you any stories on 80's Penweddig,however I was there in the
second half of the 60's when it was a grammar,Ardwyn ....and do you know
what?? So was Battle-axe!! p.s. did you know it's being decommissioned now
and turned into a housing estate?

Yes I did, wasn't Batleaxe a hockey mistress back then? She was deputy
headmistress or something when I was there.

Battle axe was there in 1990. I was first year. I remember everyone calling her that so I went up to her and said, excuse mrs battle axe? She went nuts!
