wondered if I held the NG record for most boxes at 1 time.('Course ½ of them
only contain enuf for 1 bowl or less).So ...go count !! Can you beat me?
Those of you with Rugrats have an advantage I'd guess....Micky...you should

Welllll........I have, on the cold side, All Bran......and on the hot side,

Sorry to say Baz, but you beat even me. My son the "cereal killer" has
finished a lot of the boxes already. Here's my inventory: 2 unopened
boxes, 1 bag (remnants of the two-pack of Quik and Lucky Charms) and 5
opened boxes. We did our part and ate 3 bowls of one of the staler boxes
this morning and will work our way down to a maximum of 5 at any time.
However if you'd posted this one yesterday before I consumed the last bag of
instant oats we would have tied!
Here's a follow-up challenge to you all. (I'm going to win this one hands
down I think). In cleaning up my freezer today I found I had built up a
collection of frozen bananas ( 16 actually). Can anyone beat that! Why
would you want to?
So I'm defrosting as we speak(type?) and searching for that banana bread
recipe. I'll have some for tea-time I think.

Right........Dr. Strange,Love!, Dietary Eggspurt, at your service, Sir!
What you might try is lecithin (best source of choline -brain food for
memory). Other suggestions include ginseng, and balanced "B" vitamin are
important. There are some other rather eggspensive supplements, can't
think of them right now, but these are the major ones, I think.
Of course "fish" is good brain food; I'm certain you knew that already.
The eggspurts tell us that our short term memory deteriorates as we age, but
our long term memory can even improve.
Eggsercise is vital to memory functions as we age; make certain that you get
out AT LEAST three time in a week for a very brisk walk or jog for thirty to
forty minutes - gets the cardiovascular system tuned up. This needs to be a
continuous activity; a few minutes here and a few minutes there won't do the
job!

I freeze the last banana that's unfit for eating because you can't make
banana bread with just one beat-up banana.....Saves me a trip to the store

decide to bake when they start falling out of the freezer when I'm rummaging
for other food-stuffs. Then defrost, snip off the end and just squeeze out
the guts. I've found it best if you strain off the extra watery stuff that
comes out with it or your bread is too moist.

Glad to see you're still here, Sn!pe...and of course you may cozy up
in the corner and just watch for awhile...when you're ready for a
refill, we'll be ready.
As to taking advice (good or bad)...well, if you ask ten different
people for advice in a given situation, you're likely to get ten
different ideas, and who knows which is the "good" and the "bad"
suggestion? Hindsight is 20/20 and of course we never have it when we
need it! We ultimately have to make those decisions that affect our
lives and then live with the consequences afterwards, no matter what
those around us think and do. Ours is the only behavior we can
control. Speakin' from personal experience, owning up to that and
dealing head on with the results of my actions was the way I got out
of my "life is a real bitch" mode.
I'm not making sense, am I? Oh well....

I have never driven the Autobahn...but I know all the words to the song! I
would like to drive it though , as I am a bit of a lead foot.The fastest we
can leagally drive in Canuckleville is 110kmph(at least around here!)It's not
easy to go that fast with your dogsled BTW...eating a Bacon Sarnie is

I also have a quantity of Bananas in my freezer ATM ( 6 Aktchurly) They do
tend to slide out of the door compartment, when I least expect them and drop
onto my feet.They are extreemly Blackened!! (in the skin,whoever
asked)Perhaps a dozen Banana Muffins on the Breakfast Horizon!!

a percentage of the proceeds go to a charity for kids with Autism. It was
worth $2.99 to help kids, and it really doesn't taste all that bad. They
are sugar frosted cornflakes, and they go well with orange juice, yogurt,
and even milk.
Mike (who just found a carton of milk in the fridge dated Sept. 14. Guess
it's time to clean the fridge again.)

You see I never ate an egg at all until I was about twenty. Couldn't face
them....
However, I was persuaded to try a yolk-only one time, and thought..'Hmm this
is OK'
But I never got the liking for the white of an egg.
So.
Every time I'm supplied with a fried egg, I use a surgical approach which
enables me to completely detach the yolk from the white (which is then
discarded) and then spreading the yummy yellow bit over the fried bread/white
bread/brown bread/chips...
This in itself is peculiar, I know, but the even worse thing is...my children,
when growing up, saw Daddy doing this with the egg...and now they are doing it
too!

I don't think that's peculiar at all ... in fact it is precisely what I
do[1], all though I am somewhat allergic to egg-white, which gives me an
excuse.
My daughter, however, *only* eats the white of eggs ... so this w*rks out
quite well when she visits for Breakfast :-)

Interesting, your Lordship........when I was a child, I couldn't STAND the
whites of a FRIED egg. Boiled, poached or scrambled was fine, but fried
just used to cause me to retch!
Consequently, I did the same thing...would cut around the yolk, discard the
white and do dippies with me butty.
Didn't try the white until I was well into my twenty's; don't mind it now,
though. However, I still prefer me eggies poached, scrambled or soft-boiled
in that order.

You may be thinking of the well-known painting "Time", in which soft watches
drip over the edges of things ... but Dali did indeed paint a picture of
