I just downloaded the "free" net access program call NetZero. It's ok I
guess except of course for this huge window of their's which plays ads etc.
I don't mind the idea of having some of my desktop being devoted to constant
advertising in exchange for free net access, but this particular arrangement
is almost unacceptable. If you need to click "OK" or "cancel" etc. you have
to drag this monstrous window all around the desktop.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to disable this "feature"?
I would be most appreciative.
please post it hear and e-mail me at, you guessed it bmoo...@netzero.net

Thanks

A quick note to the person who e-mailed me at my netzero address. I tried to
reply to your message but I can't seem to get the email configured properly.
If you could please contact me at an alternative e-mail address which is

bmoor...@aol.com

please remove the 00 before replying

thanks

Run AtGuard with "enable firewall" enabled. Do this JUST after your browser
starts and it will stop the pop up window. You have to wait for this because
if you do it too soon, it will not get the "start up" bytes in and will shut
down your connection. Use AtGuard v3.0 though.
