Hi, Merlyne, lovely to see you again.

I've had a pretty quiet summer, I'm getting a bit old for gallivanting
<g>. Weather patterns seem to be changing. We've had lovely weather
in late spring and early autumn (the hottest day of the year was two
days ago) but summer itself was a bit of a washout. I still managed to
get out into the garden when I wanted, though.

I've started a weekly (weakly...) exercise class so that gets me out and
about. Also, Mrs Sn!pe and I have a weekly pub lunch date, just
because.

How's life with you, Merlyne?

I cannot be doing with skeeters!

It's spider time here in dear old Blighty; I've just evicted a monster.*
They prefer the warmth of indoors now that the nights are getting
colder. Fortunately I have a very effective humane spider-evictor, like
this one (highly recommended):

* We name our spiders. Mostly they're Boris but also: Doris; Horace;
Maurice; Norris; and Alanis Borisette (she's the one with the long hair
who plays the harmonica - sorta...)
