Dear all,

I try to use iotop to check what is waking up my disks on my dlink DNS-323.
So I installed python via the web interface and now try to run iotop via SSH but receive this:

[root@NAS]# ./iotop.py
Could not run iotop as some of the requirements are not met:
- Linux >= 2.6.20 with
  - I/O accounting support (CONFIG_TASKSTATS, CONFIG_TASK_DELAY_ACCT, CONFIG_TASK_IO_ACCOUNTING)
  - VM event counters (CONFIG_VM_EVENT_COUNTERS)

Is this plan impossible to realize? If yes, which tool could help me show the processes that are causing HDD I/Os and resetting the spindown timer?
If not, what am I doing wrong?

Thanks guys!
