Folder setup permission user excess and sumba setup

Hi All,

 

Well I'm all new to all of this and I'm having trouble setting up Folders and permission and Samba setup. I have a DNS 323 C1 firmware RC4.1.

 

What I would like is to setup a folder called Movies witch all our computers on the same network can excess freely to stream movies but cannot delete or edit except for 1 user in witch he has full excess. How can this be done? All computers run win 7.

Go to Services->Network->smb, Configure, and see what was done at the Samba share level for the Public Read Only share; also use the Browse button near the Folder entry, them Permissions, to see what permissions the Public RO has. Then replicate for your Movie folder.

Well I did as said and all works well. The only issue is how do I access the RO folder to copy movies.
