It's been awhile since I've used my DNS323 so I'm not sure if there's anything that needs to be done to get around this.
I started by upgrading the firmware to 1.0, then connected my new 20TB HDD. When I tried to use the disk wizard, it failed with the following message:
mk2efs error: mke2fs 1.41.14 (22-Dec-2010)
mke2fs: Size of device /dev/sda2 too big to be expressed in 32 bits using a blocksize of 4096.
There was another user that posted about this awhile back, but that was 2 years ago so I wanted to see if there's any updates on this. Is it just not possible to use disks over a certain size with my old DNS323?
Thanks!
