Hello all,

using original FW I was able to setup my no-ip.org account in order to update my current IP to this service.

Is there any way to do the same with Alt-F?

Thank you

I've just created a new feature request ticket:

https://sourceforge.net/p/alt-f/featurerequests/33/

A DDNS client inadyn-mt is already available. Addional DDNS servers should be requested there.
Use Services->Network->DDNS, Configure, then Start to use it.

Hello,

I think i'm not able to get it working.
I put host, username and password for no-ip.org but host ip is not updated.

Can I configure it manually?Which file should I modify?
Is it possible to get the log files?

Thank you

I had no issues

/etc/inadyn.conf

I edited mine, generated with the webUI, and only set the verbose value to 5, just to have diagnostics in the syslog:

[root@DNS-325]# ls -l /etc/inadyn.conf
-rw-------    1 root     root           128 Nov 26 18:27 /etc/inadyn.conf

[root@DNS-325]# cat /etc/inadyn.conf
dyndns_system def...@no-ip.com
username noipusername
password noippassword
syslog
verbose 5
update_period_sec 60

You should set the verbose value to 0 after debugging, or else your syslog will be filled with those messages and "interesting" messages from other services will be lost.

Is it possible to get the log files?

[root@DNS-325]# logread # or use System->Utilities->View Logs, System Log

Hello Joao,

I've got it.

It was a simple error in my configuration.

I had written host name without domain.

Thank you!
