DDNS issue

I use DNS-O-Matic (https://www.dnsomatic.com/) to manage several DDNS setups. For my home I used the DDNS in my DD-WRT as well as the ALT-F's as backups.

Back in June they made a change, (or at least that was when the DDNS implementation stopped working), that requires HTTPS and the ALT-F version of INADYN does not seem to support redirect? ( Server response: HTTP/1.0 301 Moved Permanently^M location: https://updates.dnsomatic.com/nic/update?system)

At the time I sorted how out to fix it on my old DD-WRT by using this:

https://updates.dnsomatic.com:443/nic/update?hostname=

(I had to put the 443 in for it to work on that implementation)

and didn't worry about the ALT-F's. I'd like to revisit this.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to manually adjust the conf and block it from ALT-F overwriting the manual change?

Or, alternatively, if there will be an updated version that addresses this?

I think I am looking at, aside from the Http to https, how to change this:

/nic/update?

to

https://updates.dnsomatic.com:443/nic/update?hostname=

Which is what I had to do on the DD-WRT. That had a box to enter this kind of thing while ALT-F appears to have it baked in somewhere.
