installing JAVA on Alt-F

Hello all,

i am trying to install java on my NAS after having installed Alt-F firmare

I was able to have it work in the past, using standard firmware and ffp, following this guide http://nas-tweaks.net/419/installation-of-java-on-the-nas-under-fun_plug/

now after i follow the instuctions, i put the correct path into $PATH but when i try java -version i always get ''command not found'

i also tried going into the folder and typing ./java but i get the same error

Any idea on what i'm doing wrong?
