My Alt-F based DNS320 is reporting raid is degraded
Not sure what to do next?
Has a specific drive failed (both disks show Health as passed)?

Any advice would be gratefully received!

The new HD wasn't detected when I installed in the DNS320 (Seagate 4Tb) so I had to first initialise it in my PC with a GPT.
The DNS320 was able to identify it after that.

Followed the Wiki instructions and was able to recover the main RAID1 but it all fell apart when I tried to fix the swap which was also a RAID1 array (these were the original DLINK partitions) so I decided to rebuild from scratch.

I would not recommend using RAID on the swap partitions.  Swap is just temporary scratch space that sometimes is used, including during the fsck (file system checks) at boot-up, to swap processes out of memory.  If it is corrupted and a rebuild of the swap RAID is required, it may fail if not enough memory is available.

OK, Mine is a 320L, not a 320 (what's the difference?)
I am getting the message  "Your md0 raid1 device is degraded!"
However, I do not have raid enabled at all, so how do I tell Alt-F to not report problems I do not have?
before I stopped raid it was trying to claim that the swap partition (sda1) on my 2tb left drive was a degraded raid set member,
but after stopping raid in the 'raid maintenance' box I see "md0 raid1 0.9 sda1" and a "Start" button.
The 'raid create' box only offers 'md1', and no option to delete 'md0'.
Is there any way to completely disable raid on Alt-F ?
