Adopting the improved forked-daapd from raspberry pi community

I would like to kindly ask somebody more advanced to try getting the improved version of the forked-daaapd from the raspberry community. The discussion thread could be found there: http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=49928

I can do the testing but unfortunately i am not able to port it myself.
