I get two DNS-323.  One works great.  But the other one does not have power.

When I connect the good power adaptor into the "bad" box, fan spins a little.  So I know it gets some power.  But when I press the front power button, nothing comes on.  It is like dead.  No LED light and fan does not turn.

So the mainboard is bad?  I put HD on and off, no change.

What else can I do?

It seems quite some people have the same issue.  I know those boxes are old.  But what caused the boxes to go bad, or not able to start up?  I checked the circuit board.  I do not see any burns or any physical defects.  All the capacitors look good.
