I booted up my NAS, and was welcome with the error message that fsck failed, and the disk has been mounted readonly
hot_aux: Start fscking sda2
hot_aux: Unable to automatically fix sda2, mounting Read Only: fsck 1.41.14 (22-Dec-2010)
DNS-1-WD: Superblock last mount time (Wed Jan 17 17:27:25 2024,
now = Tue Jan 1 07:23:04 2013) is in the future.
DNS-1-WD: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY.
(i.e., without -a or -p options)
Why would the machine think it is Jan 1st 2013? Is the internal clock or the battery failing? When I login through SSH, the time is right, maybe NTP has 'corrected' it.
