Limited number of users in a group

Would it be possible to allow more users in group than the current version of busybox allows by updating busybox or applying patch similar to this?

updating busybox might break some scripts if commands behave in different ways. But applying the patch should be possible.

Please add it as a feature request, so I don't forget to it.
