Install fails almost immediately

Current DLINK Firmware is 1.10.  When I try to upload the latest Alt-F package, It starts to upload then the connection is terminated.....  ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED....any ideas?

To upgrade the firmware on your DNS-323, please download and save the latest firmware version from the D-Link Support Page to your local hard drive. Locate the file on your local hard drive by clicking the Browse button. Once you have found and opened the file using the browse button, click the Apply button to start the firmware upgrade.

Firmware update successful. Please wait for the DNS-323 to complete the reboot process before you log in. This should take no more than a minute. Check the firmware version to verify the update.
