to Alt-F
Hi all,
I don't know if someone is still in this group, but I would like to see if someone can help me.
I have a  Model: DNS-323-B1
It has already and alt-f system installed, but I cannot understand how to reset the device to 0.
I've tried to press the small hole behind the device, but is seems not work.
Any other ideas?

Thank you

You can use the Web interface to clear all settings.  Go to System -> Settings and click the ClearSettings button.  This will not clear any data on the disk drives.

From the help page:
  • ClearSettings: the flash-memory used to store settings will be wiped, removing all vendor's and Alt-F settings.
Current in-memory settings will not be cleared, and you might want to SaveSettings afterward, or on the next reboot the box will use Alt-F "factory" settings.
Clearing settings will also clear all created users and groups (but not their home folders), including system users and groups created by installed packages, so you might want to Download the current settings to your computer first, so you can examine them to help you restore any needed settings later.
If rebooted without settings, the box will first try to use a DHCP assigned IP address, and if not successful it will try to find a free IP address in the 192.168.1.254-240 range."
  • FormatFlashSettings: identical to ClearSettings above, but the flash-memory used to store settings will also be reformated. This has to be done when the filesystem in the flash memory is damaged and be fixed and Settings can't be saved, listed or loaded.
