Package web install error

Hi,

I have DNS -323. Installed firmware. But I can not install Alt-F package. I tried to change download url on web interface but always says:
"Installing Alt-F in /mnt/Storage Installing ipkg Trying downloads.sourceforge.net... fail, no Packages file. You don't seem to have enabled feeds, a name server configured, or a working internet connection, and no /tmp/ipkg_*_arm.ipk file found. Exiting"


Can you help me?

    The problem you are having is due to the SSL certificates being expired on the Alt-F installation bundle.  To fix this, open a CMD window on your Windows PC and try the following commands in Bold.  Replace the 192.168.xxx.xxx IP address below with the IP address of your DNS-323.

This can be easily done in the web UI itself.
System -> Utilities -> Fixes section
Click 'Update List' button
Now in the drop-down menu, choose '004-package update error'
Click 'Apply button

Now package updates should proceed successfully.

Stefan,
    At the command window prompt, enter "ssh ro...@192.168.xxx.xxx" where 192.168.xxx.xxx is the IP address of your NAS.  I am not sure why the email shows ro...@IP instead of root.

Hi Tom, thanks a lot for your response and help. Strangely the command with the ro... worked when I entered yes. The rest I worked out, it's a long time I played with Linux ;) had forgotten how to do this. Anyhow, I could install the alt-f packages. I am still trying to work all of this out. My DNS-323 was ready and prepared for scrapyard, planned to scrap it this weekend. Now I can use it a bit longer. Regards Stefan
