Hello,
I just have Nas 323 with aft-f running on top of firmware 1.10.

I'm doing a copy from disk to disk (inside NAS) where one disk is ext2 and the other ext3.
It's copying at around 6.26Mb/s (windows 7 says), in 6 hours it has coping 140 Gb.
Load is RED at 2.4 and CPU is also red at 100%,
Network Services running are only smb and inetd. System services running are only sysctrl, syslog.
NetworkSpeed: 1000Mb/s MTU: 1500 TX: 2.1 GiB Rx: 1.6 GiB

Are this used resources and speed normal? With only 1.10 i think it was faster than this.

Another extra question...

I'm copying from one disk to the other using my windows desktop to copy from a samba folder to antoher samba folder.
Will it be quicker to copy from disk to disk using a ssh connection to the NAS?

Tks.

It should, as data hasn't to travel back and forth from the nas to your computer.

Tks.

Yes, there is a topic about that.
