it should be. only follow their upgrade path, upgrading first for the last minor version before upgrading for a major version. They explain that on their homepage.

According to what I read on the QNAP forum it "should' be.

it is difficult for me to track all packages, i expect users to warn me of new versions.
currently I'm working on the 1.0 release, but after that I will take a look on packages upgrades. Just keep remembering me.
