I have another NAS (Qnap TS-209 II with Twonky) and I have Twonky installed on that. I'd like another Twonky server, rather than using the Qnap to link to the DNS-323 (otherwise both NAS's will have to be on)

I have installed Alt F firrmware onto the DNS-323, but I don't know how to install Twonky. I remember I managed to install it a while ago with stock firmware, either Twonky was a extra package or fun_plug then twonky package (same for slimserver)

Is there download location for twonky and instructions?

cheers

The thread indicates that there is no Twonky for Alt-F (or someone got
it running but didn't disclose how)...

Twonky is not free software, it is distributed only in binary/executable form, not in source-code form so I can't compile it for Alt-F.

That's one of the reasons why I'm a free (as in speech) software fan.

What is the point? If someone finding is not reproducible it is not a finding.
And I'm free to think (s)he is lying (until proof on contrary, i.e., disclosing the gory details)

That's fine, Alt-F is here for you, I hope :-)
