The app is up-to-date. I currently fix it by making Firefox the default browser and then logging in, and then reverting back to Edge. But this is very annoying because it takes a long time and Clockify logs me out frequently and randomly. Is there an easier/better solution?
Same issue here. I normally use a Chromium-based browser, and when I launch the Windows Desktop app, it sends me to the browser for a login. I successfully go through the motions of signing in on the browser, and the desktop app closes itself immediately. No login. I tried the same again with Firefox as my default browser, and the results are the same.

When I installed Clockify for Windows, the application started to use System Language, ignoring the language selected in my profile settings. I would like to select English language. How can I do this? Did not find anything related to language in registry or application folders.
Clockify desktop app will pick up System Language, as the System Language overrides the language selected on the Clockify web app. What I can suggest is changing the System Language to English, so it will reflect on the Clockify Desktop app.
For me it would be enough to start app with some command that specifies app language.
For example, in Visual Studio Installer language also cannot be changed, but you can select language in cmd.
./vs_installer.exe --locale en-US
This will launch VS Installer with English language.
As for Clockify, that option is not available, however, I will forward your idea to our product team as a feature suggestion!

My problem:
Upon downloading and installing the Clockify for Windows application (the only reason I use clockify is to get data specifically on the apps and tabs I am tracking), as of the 1.4.1 version of Clockify, it causes google chrome to crash REGULARLY.
A completely new profile with no extensions history etc. (it was an absolute nightmare to lose it all), and I started adding things 1 by 1 until I started experiencing the issue. I would add 1 thing every day or two as needed and then monitor it until the crashes started happening.
As a quick update to this issue I have spoken with the support team over the holidays and luckily I ended up with a BRAND NEW laptop computer over the holidays so I had to completely rebuild my OS setup anyway.

I received a dire warning, accompanied by a recording, on my laptop warning me not to turnoff my computer and to call a 'Windows" number to fix. How was this able to get through my Malwarebytes protection? It's impossible to call you, by the way, for a neophyte like myself. I was attempting to access a website called clockify.me (url screenshot attached).
Hello @KPG I will review your report amd will have more for you, later. The visual and audio recording you encountered are SCAMS. They are engineered ro try to "lure" you into a SCAM. No real legitimate company would have such "displays". And certainly NOT with a request to call by telephone. That is clue # 1 of a fake 'support scam'.
The screen-display alleging to be from "Windows Defender Security Center" is a total fake. A complete SCAM. A fake display. Do not be fooled by what it claims. Plus that phone number is for a scammer outfit.
Maurice, thank you so much for your help and all of the instructions, which I've printed for future use. It's hard to imagine how a person would know to look for a forum like this if their screen is telling them that they can't use their computer. I did end up closing the browser when I had no luck contacting Malwarebytes through my phone web search and decided to try the icon on my laptop....which brought me here. I hope this experience helps others!

trying to load specific programs to specific desktops in windows 11; so, my "clockify" app loads on the desktop "clock" and blender loads on the blend desktop so on so on.cannot find any docs for this mofo, but pieced together what's above.it would be awesome to:a) check if a virtual desktop exist, and create it, incase of accidental deletion.but really what I need is a way to specify the "current window". right now (i'm assuming python sees the that as whatever window is active as the current window); I have to put the sleep timer inbeteen loading programs, which is fine.b) need a way to specify what window as active, then i can tie that to the appropriate desktop and maybe load them all at once to save time
