3dmoo was an open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator made by normatt and ichfly, released on May 17, 2014 for Windows and Linux. It is notable for being the first emulator to run a commercial 3DS game (Super Robot Wars UX). It can run homebrew games very slowly. The last commit for this emulator was on August 20, 2017, making it inactive.

This app does not respond when I try to use it, there is always an error that doesn't allow it to be open, therefore it's completely unusable. I hope this issue gets fixed in the next updated version sooner or later.

3dmoo is an open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator developed primarily by ichfly, who previously created a GBA emulator for the NDS, and Normmatt, who created the AKAIO firmware for the Acekard 2i flashcart.

The emulator, first released on May 17th, 2014 for Windows and Linux, was only useful for running a low amount of simple homebrew at low speeds, and most games frequently crashed. It was last committed to on Aug 20, 2017.

The first is the lack of a hinge to be damaged, and the second being the lack of the 3D, as it was believed it could put strain on younger eyes.
