I ordered Creator NXT 2 download with USB Video Capture. The USB Video Capture was posted to me in the UK from the US. The USB Video Capture Device came without the CD/DVD with the drivers. I assumed this was because it was included as part of Creator NXT 2. However I can't find it anywhere. I found a download device driver link on one of your pages. On the same web page was a picture of your older Video capture model. I have the new one where the USB connector is on a wire coming out of the Capture device instead of being built in like the older one.

OK email address gone. I didn't think people would respond so quickly. I have the new version.of the USB device. In Device Manager I have the entry with the yellow exclamation mark indicating a problem. Here is the location where I downloaded the video capture software, just below where you click to order it.

I'm not at home now so I can't tell you exactly what downloaded but I know it created a directory called 32 and another called 64. When I right clicked on the Video Capture entry in the Device Manager and chose the directory where I'd downloaded the drivers a response came back that the drivers were not found. The fact that the web page has a picture of old video capture device (same as on your photo) made me think the drivers were probably for it.

Hello, I am having an installation issue too with the Roxio Video Capture USB, however I only have the device - no installation CD or instructions. According to the picture above, I believe I have the "New" device. I am trying to install on Win 7 64 bit to no avail. I have tried downloading the drivers from the roxio site It didn't work though - is it possible to locate the appropriate drivers for this device online or do I have to have the CD? If I must have the CD, is there any way I can get a replacement from Roxio? If it helps, I looked on the back of my Roxio device to see the serial: HU3192-E. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Note: An internet connection is required for product installation and updates. Windows may ask for your permission during various steps of the installation process. Please grant permissions when requested so that the installation can be completed.

Step One:
Connect the video output on your VCR to the matching video input on your Roxio Video Capture device using an RCA or S-Video Cable. If your VCR has a yellow RCA video output, use an RCA cable to connect it to the matching yellow RCA video input on the capture device. If your VCR has an S-Video output, use an S-Video cable to connect it to the matching S-Video input on the Roxio Video Capture device. When possible, we recommend using S-Video for higher quality.

Connect the Roxio Video Capture USB device to a USB 2.0 port on your computer. An optional USB extension cord is included. Connect the Roxio adapter to the capture device. Connect the audio player to the large two-prong plug using the cables supplied with your player. (The cables needed to connect your audio system to the Roxio adaptor are not included with Easy VHS to DVD.)

VHS tapes are generally recorded at a lower quality than we have come to expect in the age of digital video, and degrades over time. Roxio Easy VHS to DVD will faithfully transfer your video to DVD. Roxio Easy VHS to DVD also includes some tools to sharpen, denoise and improve the quality of captured video, but cannot improve videos beyond the quality of the video as it was originally captured on the tape. The resulting video quality of the DVD will depend entirely on the quality of the source material. Low quality VHS video cannot be converted to high quality video by transferring it to a DVD disc.

I have the right driver and I have followed the instructions. What I dont have is a capture device that is working because the actual hardware is malfunctioning not the software. I will report back on the weekend as I will get my hands on another Roxio game capture hd pro and then report back.

Ask for refund of support ticket since the issue was hardware related (I got confirmation in writing from the facebook roxio representatives that if the issue is hardware they will refund me the support money and they did)

I am 99.99% sure the issue is with the actual card and not the software or my computer. Roxio is primarily a software company and I dont think they realize issues could arise with the hardware I am saying this because only the software is registered to my account even though the capture card has a s/n I can't register it. There is no warranty for this product besides the 30 day refund period which is incredibly disappointing and needs to be spread to possible future buyers. 2 Months for a $150 MRSP product is unacceptable. I understand issues happen but 30 day warranty is a deal breaker.

To be clear I installed the software first, rebooted it, then pluged the game capture hd pro into my desktop. This desktop was previously never used with the game capture hd pro so I installed the software on it to see if it was my laptop that was having the issue but it seems as its the game capture hd pro.

It does not show up as you have it. the only way my desktop has been able to detect that something is attached is when I reboot the pc with the roxio game capture hd pro attached. It shows up as UNKNOWN device under device manager. I can not install any driver as windows wont let me, says best driver is already installed however it still calls it "UNKNOWN device." . Keeping in mind I have already installed the software prior to plugging in the device on this computer. When I unplug it and replug the device my computer does not sense it.

Hi, I recently got a new computer. Due to me getting the new computer, I have to reinstall the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro capture software. When I went to do this, I could not find the CD. If there is any way that I can get a replacement CD then please inform me about it.

Its 2020 now and I recently got my hands on the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro to capture gameplay from my Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. I use a computer with the newest version of Ubuntu and am trying to set up the capture card. I found a post from this subreddit from 3 years ago that's archived asking the same question but the problem wasn't resolved. Is there anyone that may have some insight?

In an effort to streamline the game capture workflow, Roxio has released the Game Capture, a focused attempt at bringing console video game capturing to the masses. While the system does make simple game capturing easy, it's otherwise a bit buggy, suffers from compatibility issues, and offers a subpar built-in editor.

As if the editing software slowdown wasn't enough of a hindrance, we were disappointed at its ease of use. One would think that having a decade of experience with nonlinear editing on Final Cut would have prepared us for the Roxio software, but unfortunately it isn't laid out nearly as logically as we would have preferred. Of course, we're not expecting game capture software to be as comprehensive as Apple's flagship editor, but Roxio's software could be very powerful if presented in a better fashion. We offered the interface up to a complete novice in our offices who reported the same shared frustrations.

For instance, selecting items on the timeline doesn't allow the user to move it forward or backward in time. The storyboard mode makes editing within a clip nearly impossible, and inserting text overlays is nowhere near intuitive as it needs to be. Overall, we'd recommend against using the included software. Instead, bring the raw capture file into something like Windows Movie Maker instead.

Roxio's attempt to streamline the video game capture process is ultimately imperfect, but for just raw video, it works good enough--albeit with a bad output signal. We'll have to recommend against it for the gamer who plans on capturing tons of footage, aside from the gamer who may just want to record a session sporadically.

Note: the Easy VHS to DVD software (or Roxio Video Capture app) will only work with the bundled Roxio Video Capture USB device. It will not work with 3rd-party video capture devices. If you have been trying to use a 3rd-party capture device, please use the Roxio capture device instead.
