1.2 Your app now switches to mobile mode but since we store device info in cookies/session you need to reset cookies for this app. Personally I suggest using EditThisCookie Chrome plugin as it only takes a couple of mouse clicks to clear cookies for the current website.

If your mobile device and desktop computer are on the same network you can test your app using your smartphone or tablet. Note that built-in web server that comes with PHPRunner, ASPRunnerPro or ASPRunner.NET is only designed for local testing. You will need to use your own web server like XAMPP or IIS.

Hi Gurus,
I have been building my old apps (from PHPRunner 8.1) in PHPRunner 9.0 + Mobile Templates.
It seems that all the layout go haywire; when the menu items is being clicked, it does not change to the list box. Instead, the list box is displayed at the bottom of the screen, after the menu items.
I rebuild the original app with PHPRunner 8.1 and it is running on the mobile nicely. Luckily I can install my PHPRunner 8.1 AND 9.0 separately.
Is there anyone who have successfully built and run your app on the mobile.
Any input is much appreciated.
Thanks.

I have just recently purchased the mobile template for PHPrunner and was wondering if it would automatically work with responsive templates on Wordpress.

So basically, if I have a responsive template installed on Wordpress and it is shrunk down to a mobile view, will the mobile version of phprunner runner automatically kick in at this point?

happy to see the new Improvements in the template options but I am sorry I am not impressed because having bootstrap means its also a mobile responsive site with theme colors changeable using the theme.css file of bootstrap.

This is the most wanted feature in phprunner. Another most wanted is Master details validation. In most finance transaction we need to validate details before saving master record. Like in journal voucher entry debit amount must be equal to credit amount and there must be 2 detail records before saving voucher but in PHPrunner we dont have control

8. You may also redesign the start screen of PHPRunner (means in single screen you can show recent projects, templates icons and new project creation options, instead of displaying them in two columns.

Phprunner is a Web apps generator/ide. The best thing about web app is flexibility. Once installed on web server, than it can be accessed from any devices such as ios, android, windows or linux laptops.... And the best thing about phprunner is: You don't have to think about how it works,..... it just works. Knowing php and javascript basics is important if you want to customize your app to meet certain business rules. But trust me...good friends in this forum are always here to help

Hi Jerry, thanks for you reply.
In fact my first option is to use in "web app" mode (bootstrap) but I would like to have a native mobile app too.
At this moment I would like to be able to evaluate the complexity to build it.
Regards,
Marcelo

PHPR already generates mobile friendly website with bootstrap.
If PHPRunner can also generate API calls to read data and write data from database tables,

it will also be able to provide data via the APIs for native mobile apps. This will make PHPR

event more userful and probably first in the market.
I had suggested earlier to have that ability perhaps in future version. i.e. PHPRUNNER can pick tables and generate APIs for read and write

with the events to manupilate data before and after api calls. I don't know if it will be taken into considertation tho'.

As others have suggested the mobile versions of the bootstrap templates work perfectly. If you were keen to develop something that could be downloaded from an app store then you could create a hybrid app and wrap your PHPR app inside it. There are lots of app makers out there who use this approach. Essentially you'd be running your app from a personalised downloadable browser (your iOS/Android/Windows app). I have this working with one of my applications and functions fine. The drawback of course is that it won't function offline.

It all depends how complex you want to make things. You could try using solutions like phonegap etc. A straightforward solution is to use something like one of the app builders. You would essentially be inserting HTML/weblinks in to the apps so you phprunner pages open in the app.

Intrested in the new mobile version . We need to keep up with the other tech out there. Not so intrested in the new image control upload ; minor to me ; but would be intrested to be able to show an image from another table as a lookup in the add/edit pages as this would be the ultimate upgrade. Meaning as you select with dependent dropdown it would show the image as a dependant or at least a live text link to the master page photo view. That would turn some heads for new buyers of this product. ?? Love this product although have been following it since 2005 and someday it will be up there with the best?

In order to provide a good Mobile interface I use professional
Skin or template i purchased and i integrated with phpr tables. However,
the only way to do it is iframe Phpr tables in the template.

Phpr is superb in building logic and functions, but comes to wow factor on
Mobile devices, it is not there and will never catch up with commercial
templates, just try the demo for mobile and realize it breaks on mobile
and tabelts easily. Maybe it
is not the intend to pursue appealing gui, thats fine, but it will be good to allow export output in plain format for easy integration with 3rd party skins.

I love the phpr logic building capability, next to none, but i want
to move to mobile fluid layout, it is
a must, more so than new functions nowadays as users change their behaviour, i
find myself have to painstakingly redo the logic without
Phpr in the end because they are just
so many skins for mobile that are so
appealing and motivated me to implement
it even i have to redo all the logic did in phpr.

Experienced developers won't find anything in this article they didn't know already. All others will find it quite useful. We'll show a few different ways of how you can quickly test the mobile version of your application.

MassMailer template can be used for more than just sending bulk emails. Lets consider the case where you manage a table with usernames and passwords for your internal company application. For increased security users should change passwords every 60 days. As an administrator you need to perform two standard tasks:

We'll show how this can be done with the help of MassMailer template. In this example we'll be using MySQL and here is how our table with logins and passwords looks. Only users where 'active' field equals 1 are able to logon.

In PHPRunner 9.0, ASPRunnerPro 10.0 and ASPRunner.NET 9.0 we are adding support for Bootstrap-based templates. We expect beta version to be available in 2-3 weeks. Meanwhile take a peek at new features you can expect in this update.

In addition, Angular delivers superb performance on mobile devices, especially smartphones whose usage is skyrocketing in the present world compared to desktop computers. It works seamlessly across mobile devices of different screen sizes, interface accessibility, and hardware. Furthermore, its native support to build mobile apps is fantastic and offers a higher level of scalability.

By default, Angular treats every value untrusted. And when you insert a value into the DOM via property, style, attribute, interpolation, class binding, or from a template, Angular quickly sanitizes untrusted values to modify and make them safer to be inserted.

The documentation consists of several topics about Angular with features, introduction to the framework, components, dependencies, templates, best practices, tools, tutorials, and more. What else would you need?
