An HDMI extender is a single device (or pair of devices) powered with an external power source or with the 5V DC from the HDMI source.[83][84][85] Long cables can cause instability of HDCP and blinking on the screen, due to the weakened DDC signal that HDCP requires. HDCP DDC signals must be multiplexed with TMDS video signals to comply with HDCP requirements for HDMI extenders based on a single Category 5/Category 6 cable.[86][87] Several companies offer amplifiers, equalizers and repeaters that can string several standard HDMI cables together. Active HDMI cables use electronics within the cable to boost the signal and allow for HDMI cables of up to 30 meters (98 feet);[83] those based on HDBaseT can extend to 100 meters; HDMI extenders that are based on dual Category 5/Category 6 cable can extend HDMI to 250 meters (820 feet); while HDMI extenders based on optical fiber can extend HDMI to 300 meters (980 feet).[84][85]
To surmount these problems, we develop an ultrafast single-shot high-dimensional imaging modality, termed stereo-polarimetric compressed ultrafast photography (SP-CUP). Synergistically combining compressed sensing, streak imaging, stereoscopy, and polarimetry, SP-CUP provides single-shot passive ultrafast imaging that can capture non-repeatable 5D [x, y, z: space; t: time of arrival; and ψ: angle of linear polarization (AoLP)], evolving phenomena at picosecond temporal resolution. Disruptively advancing existing CUP techniques30,31,32,33,34 in imaging capability, SP-CUP enables simultaneous and efficient ultrafast recording of polarization in three-dimensional space. Compared with available single-shot ultrafast imaging techniques35,36, SP-CUP has prominent advantages in light throughput, sequence depth, as well as spatiotemporal resolution and scalability in high-dimensional imaging.
In data acquisition, a transient scene is imaged in two time-unsheared views and four time-sheared views (detailed in Fig. 1, Supplementary Note 2 and Supplementary Figure 2). The time-unsheared views directly record the scene akin to conventional photographs. The measured optical energy distributions are denoted as E1 and E2. Each of the four time-sheared views uses the compressed-sensing paradigm to record the scene. Specifically, in each time-sheared view, the scene is first spatially encoded, then temporally sheared, and finally spatiotemporally integrated. The measured optical energy distributions are denoted as E3, E4, E5, and E6, respectively. Mathematically, the six raw views can be linked to the intensity distribution of a dynamic scene \(I\left( x,y,t \right)\) as follows:
Well, I want to make an automated compressed air rocket launcher... To do that, I need to know what the current pressure is in the rocket... Basically I need a compressed air pressure sensor that I can use with arduino. It needs to thread into a standard sized thread; 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" or soemthign close... Can someone please link me to a sensor?
For examples of highly compressed audio, listen to recordings of modern pop music. By contrast, most jazz recordings are lightly compressed, while typical classical recordings feature no compression at all.
Blackmagic RAW is a revolutionary new format designed to capture and preserve the quality of the sensor data from your camera. Some file formats such as H.264 are highly compressed, so add noise and artifacts, causing sensor detail to be lost forever. Blackmagic RAW eliminates this problem so you get stunning images with incredible detail and rich color throughout the whole post production pipeline. Blackmagic RAW also saves camera settings as metadata so you can change ISO, white balance and exposure later in DaVinci Resolve. Plus the files are small and fast, so editing responsiveness is incredible. Only Blackmagic RAW gives you the highest quality, smallest files and fastest performance!
With 10G Ethernet on the Pro models, you can connect all signals to the camera with the one Ethernet IP link connection. That means the camera feed, return program feed, timecode, reference, tally, talkback and control are all sent down the single cable. That's the same benefits of SMPTE fiber, but the standard 10G copper Ethernet cable is much lower cost. The Blackmagic Studio Converter allows breakout of all the video, audio and talkback connections at the studio end. It also includes a massive power supply that powers the camera down the Ethernet cable, so you don't need a power source near the camera. Plus you can fit 2 per rack unit using a Blackmagic Universal Rack Shelf!
An Availability Zone (AZ) is one or more discrete data centers with redundant power, networking, and connectivity in an AWS Region. AZs give customers the ability to operate production applications and databases that are more highly available, fault tolerant, and scalable than would be possible from a single data center. All AZs in an AWS Region are interconnected with high-bandwidth, low-latency networking, over fully redundant, dedicated metro fiber providing high-throughput, low-latency networking between AZs.
Compressing data can be a lossless or lossy process. Lossless compression enables the restoration of a file to its original state, without the loss of a single bit of data, when the file is uncompressed. Lossless compression is the typical approach with executables, as well as text and spreadsheet files, where the loss of words or numbers would change the information.
