I really liked AA's performance in Pushpa and it is one of my favourite telugu film.. I don't have any hatred against AA or Telugu cinema, But i personally think one of these four deserved the award for their exceptional performance and I would add Siddharth Malhotra for Shershah too.. Manikandan for Jai Bhim, Dhanush for Karnan, Arya for Sarpatta, Surya for jai bhim.
Why not give it to RC or NTR if they were gonna give it to telugu? There performace were way better than Allu. Allu is charismatic but there was nothing in the script that allowed him to act than saying mass dialogues
It was not given as they were telugu, that is first thing. And Telugu actors are out numbered this year in best performances. And Jury found AA 's role more challenging and nailed it. So they gave award to him.
congrats for telugu cinema but bhaai doesn't deserve it though. Usual acting with some weird mannerisms. Fafa deserved it this year 200%. Also bhaai isn't a terrific performer to say that he wasn't awarded in the past so he gets it now. Even in vedam he wasn't too good.
