1. Cancel Rosenlaui on the 2nd, arrive there on the 4th.
2. Arrive earlier and leave Rosenlaui on the 3rd. We'll probably have
to find lodging in Grindelwald on the other side of Grosse Scheidegg.
This is not unreasaonble.

The Salon, Restaurant and more guest rooms are to be found in the Art Nouveau-style wing that dates back to 1905.

Please note also that we do not have a lift in the Hotel.

I'm ok with 4th and 5th, keep in mind it's at least a 4 hour train ride back to munich. U want to call Alan and see the train schedules before confirming.

I wouldn't mind arriving on the 4th, hiking on the 5th, and taking an easy time on the 6th to get the train for Meiringen back to Munich. (If that's enough time there, it looks v. v. v. pretty)Of course I have no idea if Grindelwald is also pretty :-)

The roads are very very friendly. You have 2 routes. You can climb up
to Grosse Scheidegg (which is only a 700m climb from Rosenlaui), and
then descend down to Interlaken on gorgeous roads (be prepared to have
to brake often), or you can descend down to Meiringen and take the
dirt bike path over to Interlaken. You might want a GPS unit at that
point so you can pick the correct train station, ther'es Interlaken
and Interlaken Ost.

Given that it's summer, you could do a hike, and then ride down the
mountain, but then you miss the lovely climb up Grosse Scheidegg with
the sound of ice fall. What time does the train leave from Interlaken?
