The City of Deer Park uses the CodeRED system to deliver critical and time-sensitive communications such as severe weather warnings, evacuation notices, shelter-in-place notices, and missing child alerts, in addition to community announcements.

CodeRED Weather Warnings are opt-in only, and no one should assume they are in the emergency calling database. You may register your land-line, cell phone, work numbers, text, and email addresses. To make sure you receive notifications, please sign up.

The City of Deer Park benefits from an Outdoor Warning System which would be utilized by local authorities. The alarms are activated in case of chemical emergencies, severe weather or other hazards.

According to the Local Emergency Planning Committee website, nine siren-type alarms are mounted on utility poles throughout the City of Deer Park, and another alarm is installed at Battleground State Park. The alarms can be sounded citywide or only in the geographic area affected by the emergency.

As of April 2014, the system is tested weekly at Noon (noon) every Saturday. This allows for more frequent testing of the system and enhances community and visitor awareness.

Residential and typical commercial alarm systems provide indirect alarm reporting to the Police Department, meaning that the notification goes through an alarm company prior to notifying the Police Department of activity indicative of criminal behavior. Property owners that install a monitored alarm system and wish to have a police response to an alarm activation must have an alarm permit issued by the Development Services Department.

All permit holders are allowed three false alarm calls, as well as two panic/robbery calls before service fees are assessed. When a customer exceeds three false alarms or two false, panic/robbery calls in a 12-month period, service fees are assessed according to the following schedule:

Reducing false alarm calls will improve overall public safety and service when there is a real emergency. Officers will be able to respond to emergency calls more rapidly. In addition to the financial effect, excessive false alarms may result in the revocation of your permit, which would end police response to unverified alarms at your address.

The Police Department is asking residents and business owners across Fort Worth to register their privately-owned surveillance camera systems. Video surveillance is one of the best methods for apprehending criminals and convicting suspects who are caught in the act of committing a crime.

Residents would only be contacted if there is a criminal incident in the vicinity of their camera. Police personnel may ask to view your camera footage to assist with an investigation. Information provided to the Police Department regarding your camera system is for official use only. Personal information will remain confidential except as required by law.

The alarm registration ordinance (Metropolitan Code 10.60) was enacted to reduce the number of false burglar and fire alarms reported. This ordinance was amended in 2022 so renewal registrations are due annually on or before the end of the month in which the initial permit was issued (Alarm Permits Amendment). Registration creates a database for emergency personnel to know where alarm systems are located and who to contact in case of alarm activation. Citizens are encouraged to train other residents or employees on the use of their alarm system to prevent false alarms.

A 2.3% convenience fee will be charged on all credit/debit card transactions online. This fee is collected by a third-party processor. Metro does not receive any part of the fee. By making an online payment, you have acknowledged you understand the convenience fee will charged as calculated above and you have agreed to pay the fee. Your payment will then be submitted for processing.

If you change your mailing address only, please mail or email the registration form, requesting the change along with your name, permit address, permit number and a phone number where we can contact you. There is no fee for changing only the mailing address.

Residential, business and commercial alarm systems must be registered with us, and renewed every year, if they are monitored, or if they have flashing lights, sirens, or anything else that causes the police to provide services.

It is the responsibility of any licensed person selling and/or monitoring any alarm system to provide the user with the registration form and the Burglar Alarm Ordinance Information form. The registration form shall include name, address and State of Florida burglar alarm contractor's license number as required on the registration form.

An alarm company may not charge a customer a fee, other than the required registration fee, to register any alarm system with Miami-Dade County. A copy of the current and valid contractor's license must be on file with us.

You will need to come to the South Bend Police Department and fill out a request for items or a request for currency form. An officer will review your case and decide if the items are still needed for evidence or if they can be released. You will be contacted either way.

The police department allows a business 3 false alarms a year without charge, giving the business time to either fix issues or for an accidental trip of an alarm. On the 4th false alarm of the year, however, there is a charge of $100 and any false alarm after that in the same year is $200. On the day you are hired you must be a United States Citizen, at least 21-years-old, have a high school diploma or GED, have a valid drivers license without restrictions, not have been convicted of a felony and be a resident of Indiana.

The Community College of Allegheny County consists of four main campuses and several centers and satellite sites. Each campus (Allegheny, Boyce, North and South) has a Director of Safety & Security who is also a sworn police officer as recognized by the Office of the Governor of the State of Pennsylvania and governed by the Office of the State Secretary of Education. These directors are charged with all the duties and responsibilities pertaining to campus safety and security, and report to the Executive Director of Emergency Management/Safety & Security. The safety and security of the campus community (students, faculty, staff and visitors) is a priority issue at CCAC.

The majority of safety and security patrol and service is provided by a contracted guard service with on-site supervisors who work under the auspices of the campus Director of Safety & Security.
