Hello parents -

 

We are so excited about the Youth City Council leadership conference up at Utah State in March.  Youth councils from all over the state of Utah are invited to attend.  This is one of the favorite things we do all year on AYC.  The kids absolutely LOVE it!  Ginny and Chris plus 2 other parents will be chaperoning this event.  The cost is $75 per youth which includes transportation, food, and 2 nights lodging.  The cost is actually $155 per youth, but $80 is paid by Alpine City.  Please discuss this with your son/daughter.  If they want to attend, they need to bring $75 (checks payable to Alpine City) plus the 2 required forms (attached) to our meeting on Thursday, January 22.  We need to have commitments and money on that night for sure so we can get registered ASAP.  Every year some councils get turned away because the spots get filled up.  We don’t want that to happen to us.  More information at www.ycc.usu.edu

 

We will meet at city hall at 1:30 on Thursday, March 12, to drive up to Logan.  Youth should eat before they come or bring a lunch with them as we will not be having dinner until 6:30.  Please see the conference agenda below.
