Here is Bill's most fab work... we'll get into it as you wish. (I love this stuff!)... read when ya can the income statement to get a sense of present sources and aps of funds... I'm on the group site later today/tonight to add in a bunch of stuff.

Attached are the 2012 fiscal year end (3/31/2013) consolidated financial spread sheets for the California Alpine Club. This report will be discussed at the April 27 BoD meeting.

For new members, here is a summary description of the spread sheet.

Overview of the Excel Work Book - All data in one Excel File
Echo Summit, Alpine Lodge and CAC each have three work sheets:
1) Income statement - data entered by the treasurer
2) Balance sheet - data entered by the treasurer
3) Cash flow statement - this sheet is computed directly from the income statement and balance sheet.
There are three additional sheets containing formulas that sum up the three entities to give the consolidated numbers for the whole club. At the bottom of the workbook you will see colored tabs that are used to navigate among the work sheets.
Quarterly Statements
We issue these at the end of each quarter. Each lodge treasurer and the CAC treasurer prepares the accounting data for their area, and the CAC treasurer then combines the data and distributes the Financial Report. The attached file displays the FY 2012 results, and the four quarters of FY 2012. The 2012 budgets and prior year (FY 2011) are also displayed.
