Fwd: Intermediate Alpine Climb - Eldorado Peak/Northeast Face

All - As requested, I have listed a September ice climb of the NE Face of Eldorado for Sept 17 & 18. I haven’t done the route but Nelson suggests it is an excellent route for August or Sept. Assume day 1 is a long approach up the boulder-field and down the gully. Plan to camp somewhere near base of the east ridge on the Inspiration Glacier so we have an early start for day 2.

I listed climb with a spot for one more leader and four other students. If there is someone who is close to graduating and needs a mentor climb, let me know. If there’s more than 1, I’ll pick one.

All - registration for this climb is now available.  I have one heard from Steve Anderson who will be our co-leader.  I am getting requests from others who want to join but am prioritizing our mentor group first.  If you want to do this climb, pls reach out to me before Friday.  I will let others start signing up starting Saturday am.
