Join us for an entertaining event for a fantastic cause, Support the Last Resort, on Sat, April 19, 2014. All benefits go directly to the volunteers who comprise the Snohomish County Helicopter Rescue Team and Everett Mountain Rescue. These two teams perform 80+ rescue missions every year for nine different counties throughout Washington. Whenever there's an accident in the backcountry, our "Snohawk 10” UH-1H+ helicopter is often the best option for rapid transportation to emergency medical care. The reason for the fundraiser is because the federal funding that covered the helicopter fuel and maintenance got cut. After the 2014 season, there is no secured funding and without it, this community resource could simply disappear. So we’re seeking to raise $150K per year. The evening promises to be full of entertainment offering your choice of grilled filet mignon or stuffed portabella mushroom entrees. Outdoor enthusiasts can bid on unique adventures from Pro Guiding Service, North Coast Alpine Guides, International Mountain Guides, Cascade Powder Cat and many more experiences. For the more relaxed recreationist, we also have available custom sailboat rides, dinner cruises, helicopter flights, mountain bikes, custom skis, autographed Seahawk Championship memorabilia … too much to list here.
