Graduation Event | 6/18 – Students must fill out the graduating student survey in order to be invited to this exclusive event. Click here to answer the survey. | This event is for graduating members as well as outgoing and incoming student board leaders. Professionals from the firms that our graduating students will be joining as well as recruiters from our sponsors who are looking to fill opportunities will be in attendance. |
Pre-Convention Workshop | 7/1 or 7/2 Tentative | This event will incorporate 2 brief rounds of mock interviews and 2 presentations: ‘How to Research a Company’ & ‘How to Make the Most of a Conference or Career Fair’. Vital information about how to take advantage of this year’s National Convention (August 3-7 in Washington D.C), this Fall’s Regional Student Symposium (in Boston, MA), any career fair and get a firm strategy for your job search. |
C) Convention Notes -
§ Hotel reservations are open: Students will be able to reserve hotel rooms for $220/per night. The student rate will allow up to four guests at no additional charge. When you go to the Convention website and click on “RESERVE ONLINE HERE,” there will be a drop-down menu on Gaylord’s website and you will select “I have an access code” and enter FTU2013.
