Hello everyone,
This is a friendly reminder that ALPFA elections will be held this Thursday
during club hours, room VC 4-225.
For your consideration, below are the list of candidates running for each
respective position.* If you are interested in running and have not yet
informed myself or Olavo, please do so by 5:00pm on Wednesday*.

Below are the open positions and what they each require from you:
- Perform presidential duties in the absence of the president
- Assist the president to coordinate events
- Communicate with professionals, club advisor, and board members
- Oversee E-Board performance
- Write event proposals
- Create professional proposals to be sent out to different firms
- Manage the budget, receipts, and cash
- Communicate with USG and Accounting Unit
- Order Refreshments
- Create Budget
- Assist treasurer with paperwork, ordering refreshments and other duties
determined by the treasurer
- Take the minutes at Board Meetings
- Send ALPFA Newsletter twice a week
- Maintain E-Board, Committee and National Members of career/internship
opportunities
- Keep the calendar updated
- Create and send e-mails
- Contribute ideas for new events
- Organize and manage events with your group members and have a organized
plan of who will be doing what and and from what time
- Set up room and make sure everything is in order before the event
- Create a committee to help with tasks above
- Take attendance/ sign in members in ALL events and meetings
- Recruit members and keep current members enthusiastic about ALPFA
- Come up with initiatives to increase ALPFA's National Membership
- Create a committee to help with tasks above
- Create or recruit someone to make fliers for all events and distribute
them accordingly
- Promote and market ALPFA in conjunction with membership
- Keep the ALPFA Facebook page updated, send messages to members and create
FB events
- Create a committee to help with tasks above
- Create and participate in volunteering opportunities that include the
ALPFA Baruch Board and ALPFA members
- Fund-raise and form a team for Relay for Life
- Manage bake sales

- Responsible for the coordination of photos and videos taken at each event
- Responsible for audio and other technological needs at every event
- Point of contact for resume reviews, mock interviews and networking tips
for the entire ALPFA membership

- Must have substantial professional experience
