Hello Board,

I hope everyone is enjoying their break.

I was wondering if we have a flyer for the convention event that we wanted to do on April 9th. I also want to know who else is involved in the planning and execution of this event. I know last board meeting I expressed interest in helping this event since it benefits our membership efforts.

We need to work hard to continue signing up members for the remainder of the semester. We are not far from being the largest chapter in the nation!!!

Hey Alexa,

We have a flyer I believe Sauce did make it. Since our last board meeting I don't remember who is stepping up for the event. I may help out too, but not take the lead. As for the membership we raised about $170 from the bake sale I still have to get the exact amount and will communicate with everyone the amount. I will follow up with you guys later this week.

Hello Everyone,

I just finished blasting the event on facebook (Please invite all your Baruch friends!), I'm sure you'll bump into it even if you're not looking. I'm about to send a reminder to the people on the convention database (we're at 80+ now by the way) and another one to our official database. I will double check who they are so no one gets duplicates.

In the meantime, 
If no one is taking the lead on this one yet, I'll handle it.

I need a group of people who want to help with the info session and a couple of people who will speak about their experience on the convention.

I will work on the agenda and the powerpoint but in the mean time, I need to know who wants to be involve/wants to help out?

@Alexa:
I will make sure to cover that whoever is going needs to be an ALPFA national member, I would like for you to come and speak briefly on how to sign up, maybe a brief tutorial.

@everyone else:
I was looking at my notes on that meeting and I remember we settled on doing a couple of things during the break and they were delegated to people on that same meeting. I just want to check up on a couple of things in regards to that since some of those tasks link directly with the info session.

- Have we talked to ALPFA New York in regards to what can we offer to our pack of people?

- Have we talked to any professional that might be interested in coming by our info session? As I recall we said we would reach out to our alumni and we could definitely get something for that day. Who are we getting?

- When are we going to talk to CDC about the convention? Realistically speaking I doubt they'll be able to help us out advertising our info session by now, however we should still reach out to them about the convention itself.

Yes I will be at the event and I'll definitely be involved in helping out with the agenda, power pt etc. I do wanna take out time from the event to dedicate to membership, maybe 15mins. I will speaking about signing up nationally and will get my committee to come with iPads and laptops to sign up those students from the convention database at the event. 

Can you please email those students from the convention database and stress that they must become national members so come prepared for that. 

Also lets try and see if we can get marketing materials from the NY office. 

For whoever wants to help with this event whether it is with the convention part of it or membership part, we should meet tomorrow it would probably be  best during club hours.

Julian is taking over the project, contact him in regards to the powerpoint and agenda. I will be send the e-mail regarding national membership tomorrow.

In regards to the ALPFA flyer:

Hey dude, I'm basically writing to you about the info session flyer for DC. It looks awesome and all, buuuut the "home made" ALPFA logo you're using has to go and is in violation of ALPFA's branding guidelines. Hate to be the "brand police" and all but I gotta do my duties. I sent olavo and someone else a copy of the official logos to use a couple of months ago so can you reach out to them so they can forward you a copy?

Yea I just spoke to him. We need to change the logo ASAP. Kevin sent me an official logo that we can use. I will forward that to you ASAP.

 Julian and Sauce - please take care of this matter ASAP. The flier he saw was through Facebook so that has to be changed.

I was the one that made the flyer. I'm assuming the logos were allowed to use are the ones that are found under the marketing resources of the alpfa national website. I will take care of this asap

My mistake, I sent it to Julian. I just saw the fb page and you updated it.

Nevertheless, attached is the logo. Several people have stressed this in the past- going forward, this is the logo that must be used for all marketing materials!! Don't try to look for it on google as many of those aren't the official logo, don't have the trademark sign and/or are of low resolution.
