About the UpdSMF

UpdSMF is a simple SMF player that runs on Mac OS X v10.7 / OS X v10.8 / OS X v10.9.
This SMF player is designed to be used only for updating, and cannot be used to play back conventional SMF music data.
Before using this, you must first install a MIDI driver so that MIDI data can be transmitted.
For the installation procedure, refer to the documentation for your driver or application.

This problem definitely prevents me from buying. I would be really happy if we could solve this problem. Is there maybe any conflict between the audio interface driver and any driver of Dorico / Asio??

Where are all the audio / midi drivers actually installed on a windows computer? I wanted to see if anything was left of the Yamaha USB-Midi driver and the Steinberg Yamaha audio driver after deleting them.

my roland Ua-25ex usb audio interface audio input not recognised by macbook pro running osx 10. ...the audio outputs are ok but the (audio in) input preference for the UA-25ex is greyed out and the sliders for input volume etc are disabled ... and I can only record voice by using the macbook pros onboad microphone not the usb interface

thanx for your suggestions Cheeky.... the jump from pc to mac is not easy one and sometimes i wish for the good od days of the atari 1040 ste and midi ports and big fat unstable dongles !!!....The problems I had seemed to have solved themselves ..I had initially downloaded the wrong driver...and i now have garageband and cubase le6 cruising along nicely....and now if some cheeky person could just point me in the direction of logic pr09...
