You and your friend must both have Steam accounts and you'll need to be friends on Steam. You can purchase Steam digital gift cards for any user that you have had on your friends list for at least 3 days. Please note that you cannot use existing wallet funds to purchase a digital gift card.

Like 4 days ago, I bought a 20 euros steam giftcard, but when I went again the next day to grab another one since the previous day there were alot of them, all there was left was 1 gift card. I thought to myself that i was lucky for finding the last one, and I thought that someone interested bought all of the remaining 100, 50 and 20 euros gift cards.

Im trying to sell some jewelry, and this guy contact me on my post, asking if he can pay using paypal. He is from another country, and wants me to ship it to him, but i said i needed the payment first. He then says he will transfer the money using a business account on paypal, and i need to give him a steam card number for this to happen. (I know, red flag) i proceed to be sceptical, and asks why and how that would work, as i have never had any issues receiving money before. His reason was, that it is from a business account to a personal account, and also that it is an international transfer.

As mentioned in the comments, the solution is to remove the .deb file installed from the Steam website and do sudo apt-get install steam as it automatically installs the required libraries and packages required for the proper functioning of Steam.
