Whenever a body part has a Player option, that means that the texture can be loaded from the players texture, which he uploaded to his Minecraft profile. The other options are default textures included with the mod itself.

The mod comes with some default settings for the old models like: Dwarfs, Elfs, Orcs, Enderchibi and female models. You can also add your own creations by pressing the Save Settings button.

Ears have a player option and are textured in the top right. For the bunny ears the shape matters. The normal ears consists out of a front and back plane and the shape does not matter.

Only the Naga legs have a player option, they take part of the texture for the legs and part from the bottom right of the player texture.
Mermaid legs only show in water.

The normal tail and the dragon tail have player options. When you apply textures, shape really matters. The normal tail is textured at the bottom right and the dragon tail right next to the arm texture.

The modification is magnificent, but in multiplayer, when a player from my exchange server skin, all other players online automatically exchanged, and all players are with the same skin, have any solution for this?

My complaint is not only with the DogWorld and CatWorld skins which put unrealistic tails (if any) and colors on otherwise humanoid models but also with the Lycan series which uses identical heads for both wolf and fox while offering no tail whatsoever. There are also several others which, to put it bluntly, are simply too Toon-y for the imagery I wish to create.

Ok, it seems nobody had any interest in this. However, what I'm looking for is, if not the ability to create the models myself, then somebody to work with me to create several models who are decidedly non-human yet have approximate human form. The Anubis model is too ugly and the Genesis Dog and Cat heads don't meet up to what I need. While I am quite aware of different packages to 'rough in' a number of different species, I would much prefer to pay someone to develop models and textures (skins) that meet my needs. The artwork is to be used for book covers and other very visible sites.

Since it seems "furry" here is either Toonish or Horror, I need something more natural in appearance as though these beings are truly intelligent and walking around in a real world. Please, somebody, help.

I've been looking at that and have it in my "wishlist". However, while I'll need that to help detail the characters, I still need the models themselves. I'm not all that happy trying to plug pieces onto a generic model and say that's 'good enough'.

Hey replay mod team,

I feel kinda bad for this is my second bug report within a short time - I don't wanna be the complaining guy! ;-) Since my last experience with you guys was nothing short of amazing, I will try again, anyway.

This time, I have a problem with a pretty long (4:30 hours) multiplayer replay created on a multiplayer server. The player models sometimes don't show or don't move in the replay. In the rendered video, I couldn't get it to work at all - I have tried at least ten times.

Data

Minecraft version: 1.12
Forge version: 1.12
Replaymod version: 1.12
Launcher version: 1.6.73-j (old Minecraft launcher)

Other mods: Worldedit (v1.12), Optifine (v1.12), LunatriusCore & Schematica (both v1.12), LiteLoader (v1.12), Macromod (v1.12).

OS: Windows 10 Home
Architecture: x64

Story

I have recorded the replay building a large building on a survival multiplayer server - the biggest German survival server "kadcon.de". This server is highly customized with a lot of extra stuff installed that does not exist in vanilla Minecraft (for example rocket boot flying, warping, setting /home points, setting fake player models, and lots more).

In the replay I (Minecraft account "MaxDevvil") built a building with another player (Minecraft account "Armaggeddonx"). In the replay there are two other player models who are appearing briefly. And there is one "fake model" who is there the whole time - standing in a valley, looking up. The fake model normally has a skin, but is shown as a Steve skin in the replay - which I really don't mind at all (the fake model plays no role and is really unimportant).

When I watch the replay, the following two things happen randomly, but pretty often:
- My own model does not show at all.
- The model of the player I am building the building with, is visible, but does not move. He just stays at the same spot while his head is spinning around and completely going wild.

Both of these events can be avoided by jumping in the timeline of the replay. They randomly happen or don't happen. After a few trys I will always be able to get the replay to show both mine and his model (I don't care about the two other ones that only briefly appear). But even after ten trys of rendering a short sequence of the replay as a video, I could not get both models to show and act normally in it (mine sometimes does, I never got his to work).

Since I would like to create a nice video out of this replay and upload it to Youtube, this is really annoying.
Do you think that my replay is lost, or is there a chance of fixing this problem?

Thanks.

I have tryed around a little, and sadly the 2.0.1 version doesn not solve my problem.

Here are a few details, if needed:
- I moved the old .jar file to another folder and copied the 2.0.1 file in the mods folder. The game still loaded the 2.0.0 ReplayMod. It only worked after I deleted the old .jar file! O.o
- With the 2.0.1 version, at first everything seemed better: The player models moved and behaved normally and even the fake model had the right skin.
- After skipping ahead in the replay timeline, the same problem occured, though.
- I can still get rid of the problem in the replay itself by skipping back and forth in the timeline until both models behave normally.
- But in the rendered video, it still looks the same - even though I have only tryed rendering a short sequence three times.

I saw the player model bug report from a few days ago in the forum. The problem seemed slightly different - that's why I opened this new thread.

That's also the bug that I found. Thanks for linking to the file - and sorry for not trying that myself, before.

Sadly, it does not fix my problem. Still the exact same thing: I can fix the problem by jumping around in the timeline. When I render, his player model never works.

In the few times that I have tried with this version, it seemed that the problem of MY invisible model is fixed. I'll try around some more later in order to confirm. His player model still bugs around in the same way, though.

I was a little short on time last week but I've now identified the reason for the other player still being glitched (edge case of bug 93 which I forgot about when fixing it).
Can you confirm that this version fixes the problem? -1.12-2.0.1-fix93-2.jar

I can indeed confirm that this solved my problem.

Thank you very much! :D

This thread can be closed.

Just one more question, if I may ask: My skin is not rendered (or shown in the replay) with the skin overlay. This is not a showstopper - it's just a nice-to-have! Is this a known bug? Should I open a new topic for that?

Thanks again and have a good week!
Best regards & see you soon,

Sastkryptlox // MaxDevvil

Skins have never been dealt with properly. They probably should also be stored in the replay otherwise they'll change/disappear once the recorded player changes their skin (which becomes a real problem with skulls).
So, I do consider skins in general a known problem, it's just rare enough that no one has bothered to deal with it yet.

Absolutely +1. I'm all for more ways for everyone to customize who they are, and this looks great. So long as it doesn't cause any stability issues I say go for it.

Totally not because I wanna see Daryl Dixon running around or anything.

Edit since I'm home now: @NonplayerJust because something is available for sale on a site doesn't mean the content hasn't been stolen from else where. The Daryl Dixon head model is a dead link and has been removed from the associated site.
