salaam everyone.

I have approached this forum before with the idea of Al Murtaza School Alumni Association. Now after a few months, we are finally meeting with the Mrs. Tasneem Shabbar this Thursday September 11 between 1pm to 2pm. Let me recap a little on what this is all about.

Alumni are people like most of us who have graduated from an educational institute. This year, the 18th batch of students of Al-Murtaza School matriculated and all of these people are the school's alumni. What we are trying to do now is bring all of us under one platform for mutual benefits.

For those of you who have graduate within the last 2-3 years, joining the AMS Alumni Association will mean excellent career guidance and role models of people who have been exactly where you are right now. We can all help you get into good colleges and universities and tell you all you need to know about your career choices.

For those who have graduated earlier than that, what it means is that we can get better career placement advice, more business networking and connections and basically a platform to help improve the way things are done.

For the school and specially for current students, it means an excellent opportunity to interact with the alumni, a lot of scholarships and an improved outlook and realization of their true potential.

Having said all of that, I invite you all to be part of this initiative and help in whatever way you think you can. If any of you can make it to the meeting this Thursday and would like to contribute, please let me know as soon as you can. Send me an SMS at 0321-3789621 or email at mur...@consulnet.net

I am eager to hear your ideas, comments, suggestions as well as criticism.

Best Wishes,
Murtaza Hemani - AMS Class of 2002
