As was previously announced, anyone who had registered and paid for the class before November 30th would be entered into a drawing.
The drawing was done on Saturday, the 8th of December and we are happy to announce that the winners are:

Financial Aid Opportunity (Dec9 - Dec20th)
We are also happy to announce that the window for Financial Aid for the upcoming Al Maghrib class - Beautiful Patience - offered through Qabeelat Al-Abrar is now open. If you are in need of financial assistance please fill out the attached form and return it to this email address or to one of your Al Maghrib volunteers. Financial Aid covers up to 50% of the cost of the class (or ~$40). You will need to first register and pay for the class, submit the Financial Aid form and then you will be reimbursed up to 50% (or ~$40) of the cost.
Financial Aid is available through the generosity of our sponsors and limited to funds available. Applications will be considered on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis so please give this your prompt attention. At this time, we only have funds to cover approximately 30 awards of financial aid so please only apply if you are not otherwise able to cover the cost of the class.
Preference will be given to:
- multiple registrants from the same immediate family;
- full time students; and
- regular attendees of Al Maghrib classes who are pursuing their degree in Islamic Sciences.
Al Maghrib Institute also offers an installment payment plan (Qard Hasan) which allows registrants to pay over installments. We ask all prospective applicants to please look into this option first before deciding to apply for financial aid.
