FYI ... While one of the central claims in our whitepaper is that ALMA's support for time-domain science can be improved significantly *without* new development, you could certainly imagine more ambitious time-domain-y efforts that would make sense as projects within the ALMA Development Program. The "Roadmap for Developing ALMA" referenced in the attached email does not call out for the sorts of capabilities we're interested in, so we would probably be limited to "General Studies": 1 year, 200 K$.
