Hello Roni,

Sounds good, and it seems these traditions and rituals keep you busy at
this time.

Summer is here in this little spot upon the map of Oz, manifest by
Tagasaste seed pods turning black, writhing in the hot sunshine and dry
conditions, their loins cracking open to give propulsion birth to the
tiny black seeds that will ensure the survival of their species. These
embryo's of the plant, composed of all that's required to grow, first a
seedling then a tree like their parents, with just the addition of
water and light have a hard coat but appear fragile. Because they are
desirable food for birds and ants, the tree produces tens of thousands.
There is no individual here, though there may be to each seed, in the
scheme of things there is only the species. The trees are shedding
their pods once they have projected their seed away fall to the ground
and are consumed by sheep.

The signs of summer are plentiful. Evening and night, bats can be seen
flying against the background of a not quite night sky or moon, taking
insects in mid flight.

Cicadas sing the day away and flutterbyes flit through the air with
various unusual motions, going about their business. They say that
Christmas will be cool this year, but till the day is here, we will
have no idea of the truth of it just the knowledge of another year
coming to a close to have a new beginning, much like the seed written
about above.

I hope and wish it to everyone who celebrates it will have a very merry
Christmas and slip into an exciting new year.

Charlie
