We all know Chandra Babu was a great commedian and singer. He had song many hit songs for him. But here are some unique features.

 

1) Chandra Babu sang for Sivaji Ganesan in Kalyanam Panniyum Brimmachari

 

2) Chandra Babu sang for Veenai Balachandar in the movie Penn - song Kalyanam, Kalyanam

 

3) Chandrababu was given playback voice by Seergazhi Govindarajan in Sabash Meena - Song Aasai Kiliye Kobhama

 

4) He was given playback voice by K J Yesudas in Parakkum Paavai - Song Sugam Yethile Idhayathila. Incidentally, he acted in this MGR movie after a long gap as he fell from grace of MGR for many years.

 

Is there any other parellel to this feat ?

Maadi Veettu Ezhai was to be produced and directed by Chandrababu with MGR as hero. This brought the rift between them. Chandrababu was highly critical of MGR in a serial that he wrote in Filimalaya magazine.

Hi: No doubt Chandrababu is a great dancer, singer and actor ! There is a "superior" personality (?) in Tamil - Vijaya Rajendar (Bearded Bear!) - who has more avatharams to his credit like politician, producer, photographer, , lyricist, music director, story-dialogue writer, director, dancer and actor, etc. etc. etc.   But when coming to personality Chandrababu wins! But there is one other person "Kishore Kumar" who does not belong to Tamil film industry! He was an Actor, Producer, Writer, Director, Music Composer, Lyric Writer.  Rajesh  Khanna, Amitabh Bacchan and other actors shot to fame only due to the songs of Kishore Kumar.  Kishore Kumar has sung for almost all the Hindi film stars including Raj Kapoor for whom Mukesh was the Aasthaana singer!   Tears cloud my eyes when I think of him!
