Academy!
The Planning Academy is a free, interactive learning experience dedicated to digging through the history, context, and complexities of planning, design, and development in Boston.
Whether you’re a long-time resident, or new to your neighborhood, the Planning Academy will equip you with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to meaningfully have a voice in shaping the city’s future.
Here’s what you can expect:

Eight weekly sessions held from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM on Wednesdays from April 29 through June 17, 2026

Learn how to be an active participant in shaping your neighborhood through discussions, guest speakers, and activities

Build relationships with City staff, community leaders, and neighbors
