The voting phase of Participatory Budgeting starts on January 15th! This is an opportunity for Boston residents to select the projects that will have the biggest impact on your community.
From January 15 to February 15, 2026, you can VOTE and decide on how $2.2 million in Participatory Budgeting funds will be invested in community-driven projects across the City. Selected projects are a one-time, non-recurring investment, and will start planning
for implementation in the Spring of 2026.

Voting Requirements:

Be a City of Boston resident

Be at least 11 years old (or at least in 6th grade)

Share first and last name, and Boston neighborhood where they live

In-person voting will take place at City Hall through a paper ballot, as well as in
selected BCYF Community Centers (Martin Pino, Quincy/BPS Josiah Quincy Elementary School, Holland, Leahy Holloran, Vine Street, Hennigan, and Marshall.)
