155 North Beacon Street

Impact Advisory Group Meeting

NEW DATE: Thursday, January 27, 2022 | 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Please note: this meeting was originally scheduled for January 12, 2022.

The BPDA is hosting an Impact Advisory Group meeting for the 155 N. Beacon Street Project in the Allston/Brighton neighborhood of Boston. The purpose of the meeting is for the Impact Advisory Group to discuss the Project Notification Form submitted to the BPDA. The meeting will include a presentation followed by Q&A and comments from the IAG and then if time allows the public.

Please note that the purpose of this meeting is different from that of a traditional community meeting. As part of the development review process, Impact Advisory Group (IAG) members work closely with BPDA staff to identify the impacts of a project and recommend appropriate community benefits to offset those impacts. IAG meetings prioritize discussion between the project proponent (i.e. the developer) and IAG members.

Project Description: The Project site is 135,716 square feet (3.11-acre) located at 155 North Beacon Street in Brighton, south of New Balance’s Boston Landing development. The proposed redevelopment comprises demolishing the existing on-site building and replacing it with a life science campus totaling approximately 409,395 square feet. It consists of three new, sustainably designed buildings up to six stories high and parking for 328 vehicles in a 2-level underground garage. The project will also create approximately 27,000 square feet of new publicly-accessible open space.
