I discovered that there is a lot to like about Bridget Nee-Walsh, a candidate for an at-large seat on the Boston City Council -- the link below has an interesting and concise interview with her.

With her background, she will get support of construction unions – but it doesn’t bother me, because in this case they picked a good one to support.  Bridget is not a hack – she’s for real:  a down-to-earth, disciplined, goal-oriented, hard-working blue-collar person who understands the value of work, and what is really important to Bostonians like her.  With her, there is no bleeding-heart BS-ing, no divisive pandering to this or that identity, and no fake promises (unlike some of those made by a certain leading candidate for mayor).
